Chase IHG family rule
You are not eligible for a welcome offer on a personal IHG card if you received a welcome offer on any personal IHG card within the past 24 months. You also cannot be approved for a second personal IHG card while one is open. You may hold both a personal and a business IHG card.
Unpublished rule: the issuer does not publish this rule. It is documented by at least two independent guides below — treat it as a reported pattern, not a guarantee.

Can I hold a personal IHG card and a business IHG card together?
Yes. The family rule covers personal cards; a personal plus a business IHG card is allowed.
Is the IHG rule the same as the Southwest rule?
Very similar: both are personal-family 24-month rules with a one-personal-card cap. The difference is only which cards belong to the family.
